Diablo 4 Legion Mobilization: How It Works and How to Participate?

The first zone event worthy of the name, which you will encounter in Diablo 4 is the Gathering of the Legions. It's much less glorious than world bosses like Ashava and Avarice, but also simpler, and above all: much more frequent. Position and times of appearanceThere are many places where this event can take place. It seems to have at least one position per region, although this seems related to liberating a Bastion in some cases, such as north of the Broken Peaks. The good news is that an icon will appear on the screen and on your map to warn you of the imminent start of the legion gathering (5 minutes before).You will even be notified when this event takes place in a nearby region that you have not yet explored. Each fire activation offers a temporary experience bonus.When the countdown reaches zero, the event really starts. Monsters will appear all over the area, the goal is to kill as many as possible, as fast as possible. A progress bar on the right side of the screen shows how much time is left, and whether you're early, or late.By killing enough monsters before the time runs out, a mini-boss servant of the underworld will appear. If you kill him, a new wave of monsters arrives. You have to kill it faster than the previous one, if you want to fulfill the objective.Demonic structures to destroy will also appear regularly in the area. They must be destroyed quickly.All this can happen up to three times. In case of victory, or failure after validating at least one objective, the overlord will appear: the Khazra abomination.The important thing for this event is to go with several players. Validating secondary objectives is almost impossible solo. It is therefore better to participate during a busy hour, and/or with a group. It is also necessary to distribute oneself in the zone, instead of throwing oneself all at the same group of enemies. RewardsThe outcome of this event will greatly depend on your performance. If you don't even kill enough monsters on the initial wave, the overlord won't appear, you'll just get some  Diablo 4 gold  and experience.But if you kill underworld servants and then the Overlord, you will get between 1 and 3 glorious reward chests, inside which you will find various  D4 items for sale , Obols, nightmare dungeon emblems if you play in World Level 3+, and even components related to the Infernal Waves, if this second event is active at the same time in the area.
